on a political note, i find it frickin ridiculous that our president is all gung ho for sending manned missions to mars. he, the man who pronounces 'nuclear' as 'newk u lar' and hasn't a good reason to do that other than it's distracting from the other shit he's up to... but, I digress... |

(BTW, he's all into it now because China wants to go to the moon. All this talk about a base on the moon and manned mission to Mars started after China's announcement. Look more into it, it's very interesting how the government isn't interested in giving NASA the funding for the past 30 years until some other country is going to beat us (the USA) to it).
